Russia issued study visas to more than 700 Afghan students

Russia’s Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the issuance of documents for more than 700 students to enter Russian universities.

According to Sputnik, the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has submitted a visa application for more than one thousand Afghan students who are to return to Russia to study.

According to the announcement of this ministry, on October 21, 1047 students have applied for visas from this ministry, and 752 of them have been issued visas so far, and this process is still going on.

The Russian agency has stated that the transfer of Afghan students to Russia is planned to continue or begin their studies at the country’s universities, as well as those who have enrolled in the introductory course, taking into account the current socio-political situation in Afghanistan. And will be implemented step by step.

“At the moment, there is no information on a specific date for special flights to be operated by Russia,” the ministry said in a statement.
