The house-to-house polio vaccination campaign is set to begin in Afghanistan tomorrow

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has announced the launch of a door-to-door polio vaccination campaign across Afghanistan.

The organization tweeted today, stressing that the process is set to begin tomorrow across Afghanistan and calling on people to vaccinate their children against polio.

According to UNICEF, three million children who were previously not vaccinated are expected to benefit during this period.

Earlier, the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that all Afghan children, including the 3.3 million children who had not been vaccinated in the past, would be vaccinated during the polio vaccination process.
