Taliban to former government pilots: Join the country’s air force

A Taliban spokesman has called on former government army pilots to return to their posts and they will not face security threats.
At a news conference today, Zabihullah Mujahid, the deputy minister of information and culture and the Taliban spokesman, called on the former government army pilots to return to their duties without any fear and without any security threat.
“The country’s air force is active, join the country’s air force,” he said.
Emphasizing that 33 military planes have been activated in the country, Mujahid said that the country’s pilots are part of the Air Force cadre and worthy.
He said invitations had been sent to part of the country’s air force to rejoin the country’s air force.
A Taliban spokesman made the remarks as all former government air force pilots took refuge in neighboring countries, including Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, after the Taliban took control.
