One hundred tons of wheat seeds arrived in Kabul with Turkish aid

One hundred tons of seeds from Turkish aid were handed over to officials of the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture in Kabul today by the Turkish Humanitarian Cooperation Foundation.

“Turkey, through the Tika Development and Cooperation Agency, the Afad Emergency Management Center and the Red Crescent, as much as possible, It extends a helping hand to the needy.”” said Sami Lotfi Turgut, Turkish Consul General in Mazar-e-Sharif.”In cases where we do not have access, Turkish NGOs have always been with us on the ground,” he said, stressing that the purpose of the aid was to expand relations between the two countries.

Maulvi Abdul Rahman Rashed, acting head of the Taliban’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, also thanked Turkey for its humanitarian assistance, saying that Afghan money frozen in international banks belonged to the Afghan people.
