Three people were arrested in connection with yesterday’s explosion in Nangarhar

The Taliban announced the arrest of three people in connection with yesterday’s explosion inside a mosque in Nangarhar province.
Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of intelligence and Taliban spokesman, wrote in a tweet: “Three perpetrators of an explosion in a mosque in the Traili area of the Spin Ghar district of Nangarhar province have been arrested by the country’s security forces.”
He added that those criminals will be dealt with according to Islamic law and will be punished for their evil deeds.
The blast, which struck at noon on Friday during a Friday prayer service in the village of Trili in Spinaghar district, killed two people and injured at least 18 others.
However, eyewitnesses said the blast was caused by a suicide bomber.
This is the fourth deadly attack on mosques since the Taliban took control.
However, no one or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
