Armed robbers attack passengers on Bamyan-Daikundi highway

Sources in Bamyan say armed robbers have attacked several passenger cars on the Bamyan-Daikundi highway.

According to these sources, at around 12 o’clock last night, a folder-type vehicle and two Flankouch vehicles were attacked by armed robbers in the first part of Yakawlang district of Bamyan, as a result of which three people were injured.

However, local Taliban officials said the thieves shot at the vehicles after a driver resisted.

According to them, the robbers fled the area after the arrival of the forces of the Islamic Emirate.
