The Taliban government’s finance ministry says it has collected about 26 billion afghanis in revenue over the past three months.

Enamullah Samangani, the Taliban’s deputy spokesman, wrote on his Twitter account, quoting the Ministry of Finance, that the ministry’s revenue was increasing day by day, with 755 million afghanis collected on Wednesday alone.

On the other hand, the Taliban deputy spokesman wrote that the quarterly salaries of government employees are paid by the Ministry of Finance in one lump sum.
