The United Nations expressed concern over the plight of farmers in Afghanistan

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has expressed concern over the plight of farmers in Afghanistan and called for cooperation.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) yesterday issued a statement on its official Twitter page once again expressing grave concern about the plight of farmers and ranchers across Afghanistan, saying that a humanitarian catastrophe would occur if they were not cooperated with.
Richard Tranchard, FAO Representative in Afghanistan, announced on his official Twitter account that he had visited Herat province and met with farmers and herdsmen in the province, calling the situation dire.
Emphasizing the need for sustained assistance to address the plight of farmers in Afghanistan, the official representative of the agency in Afghanistan has added 50 kilograms of improved wheat seeds to every 120 farmers in Herat.
On the other hand, the World Food Program has said that global climate change, rainfall and famine and the arrival of winter can turn Afghanistan into hell on earth in winter this year.
