Sources in Kapisa province say two religious scholars have been shot dead by gunmen in the provincial capital.

The source, who did not want to be named, said that the two religious scholars were shot dead in Rigarwan area of ​​Kapisa province.

The source named one of the clerics as Rumi Ruhollah Hanifar, and said that he and a religious scholar had been shot when he was on his way home.

However, no one or group has claimed responsibility for the incident.
