The families of 9/11 victims demanded compensation from Afghanistan’s frozen assets

The families of the 9/11 victims have called on the US government to compensate them for Afghanistan’s frozen assets.
According to the New York Times, lawyers for some of the families of 9/11 victims are in talks with the US government to seek compensation from the Taliban.
They have demanded compensation for the $ 7 billion in frozen assets of the Central Bank of Afghanistan.
The 9/11 attacks in the United States in 2001 killed 2,993 peoples.
Most of those killed in the attacks were ordinary people and citizens of nationalities from 90 different countries.
In addition, at least one person was reported dead from exposure to dust caused by the destruction of two towers.
