36 tons of Russian humanitarian aid was delivered to Afghan officials

The Ministry of Transport says that 36 tons of Russian humanitarian aid were delivered to Afghan officials at Kabul airport.

The ministry said in a statement today that the aid included flour, sugar and tea.

The ministry added that the aid was delivered at Kabul International Airport in the presence of Jilani Vafa, Moin, and Abdul Sattar Gharwal, director general of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation, and Ghulam Ghous Naseri, deputy minister for disaster relief, on behalf of Antan Lavrov, deputy Russian embassy in Kabul.

Russia has previously sent humanitarian aid to Afghanistan.
