The Red Cross Committee donated 300 cartons of surgical supplies to Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat hospitals

The Red Cross in Afghanistan says it has donated about 300 cartons of surgical supplies to Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat hospitals over the past week.

“Last week, we transfered about 300 cartons of surgical supplies for Mazar-e-Sharif and Herat hospitals,” the committee said in a statement.

The committee added that the materials included spices, dressings, dressings, surgical sutures, blood maps, disinfectants and plaster bandages.

However, with the Taliban taking control of Afghanistan and the cessation of global aid to Afghanistan, health centers have become less able to treat patients.
