Twice the increase in Turkish coffee exports since 2016

Exports and imports of leather, pods and coffee products are on the rise, according to the Turkish Statistics Agency.
Emphasizing that Turkey exports coffee to more than 144 countries, the organization said that Turkey’s coffee exports have more than doubled between 2016 and 2020, reaching 65 million and 518 thousand dollars in 5 years.
According to the organization, from January to October this year, the United States, Belarus and Russia imported the most coffee from Turkey.
The United States imported the most coffee from Turkey with $ 2.113 million, Belarus with $ 2.552 million, the Netherlands with $ 1,558,000 and Russia with $ 1 million, respectively, the statement said.
Turkey exported $ 12.1 million worth of coffee in 2018 and $ 13.3 million in 2019.
