During his visit to Qatar, Erdogan will discuss Afghanistan with Qatar officials

Today, the President of Turkey is scheduled to pay an official visit to Qatar, during which the situation in Afghanistan will be discussed.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will be welcomed by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in an official ceremony in the capital Doha.

It is said that during this visit, the Turkish President will discuss all aspects of Turkey-Qatar relations.

During his visit, Erdogan will also discuss developments in the region, especially in Afghanistan, Syria and Libya.

One of the goals of the Turkish President’s visit to Qatar is to hold the seventh meeting of the Turkey-Qatar High Strategic Committee, which will be chaired by Erdogan and Al Thani, and various agreements will be signed.

It is worth mentioning that the first meeting of the Turkey-Qatar High Strategic Committee, held in 2015, signed 62 agreements in many fields, from trade to energy, from defense to industry.
