Nasir Ahmad Fayek became Afghanistan’s representative to the United Nations

Ghulam Mohammad Ishaqozi, Afghanistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, tweeted today that Nasir Ahmad Fayeq was in charge of advancing affairs and leading Afghanistan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
On the other hand, Nasir Ahmad Fayeq wrote on his Twitter page, emphasizing that he has taken great responsibility in difficult conditions, that he is doing his best to make the voice of the Afghan people heard in the UN member states in these conditions of poverty and hunger.
However, some media outlets have reported that Ghulam Mohammad Ishaqozi, who was appointed Afghanistan’s official representative to the United Nations at the end of Ashraf Ghani’s rule, has resigned, but official sources have not confirmed this.
