Unknown people assassinated a person in Farah

Local sources in Farah province say gunmen have mysteriously killed a man in the province.

Aref Adil, deputy spokesman for the Farah police chief, told 8am that the man had been killed at his home on Friday.

He named this man as Juma Khan, adding that the motive for the killing was still unknown and that Taliban forces were trying to arrest the perpetrators.

Last week also, a man was killed at his home in the province.
