Mottaqi met with the head of the Jamiat Ulema of Pakistan

Amir Khan Mottaqi, the acting foreign minister of the Taliban, met with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, head of the Pakistan Islamic Ulema Association in Islamabad, on the sidelines of a meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Zabihullah Mujahid, deputy minister of information and culture and Taliban spokesman, tweeted that during the meeting, the two sides spoke about the unity of the world’s Muslims and the Islamic Cooperation Summit, emphasizing the unity and unity of the world’s Muslims.

Mujahid added that the parties considered the Islamic Cooperation Summit on Afghanistan in Islamabad a good opportunity for Afghanistan.
