Canada is providing $ 56 million in aid to Afghanistan

Canada’s Minister for International Development says his country has set aside $ 56 million to help the Afghan people in 2022.

Harjit Singh Sajen, Minister for International Development and Minister for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, made the remarks yesterday in response to a call from the United Nations and the Red Cross.

“Millions of people across Afghanistan are in urgent need of help, and I will do everything I can to provide the help they need,” he said.

According to him, his country is deeply concerned about the humanitarian crisis and the deteriorating situation in Afghanistan.
