Resistance Front Spokesman: Dozens of Taliban have been killed in separate incidents by members of the Front

A spokesman for the Afghan Resistance Front said dozens of Taliban fighters had been killed and wounded in several ambushes.

Sebghatullah Ahmadi, a spokesman for the Afghan Resistance Front, wrote on his Twitter page that at 8 pm, eight Taliban gunmen were killed and 14 others wounded in a complicated ambush under the “Martyrs’ Hill” in Panjshir.

He wrote that on Saturday, the 27th of Qaws, another Taliban gunman was killed and another was wounded in another incident in the “Faraj Panjshir” area.

Ahmadi added that in another successful ambush in the Shabashk area of Badghis on 29 Qus, six Taliban were killed and 11 others were wounded.

He further reported that 18 Taliban had been killed and 19 others wounded in separate incidents in Andarab and Khost, and that three Taliban gunmen had been killed in an ambush in Kunduz.

He further added that 34 Taliban were killed in Maidan Wardak, Kabul, Takhar, Ghor, Farah, Kapisa, Laghman, Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan, Sar-e Pol, Balkh, Parwan, Jawzjan, Faryab, Herat and Ghazni provinces. Another 52 were removed from the sabotage activities.

However, he stressed that seven people from the Resistance Front were killed in the incident.

Taliban officials have not yet commented.
