Protesters in Kabul demanded recognition of the Taliban government

A number of Kabulis today protested the US freezing of Afghan currency.
The protesters marched today to demand the release of Afghan money and also called on the international community to recognize the new Afghan government.
The United States, meanwhile, has frozen nearly $ 10 billion of Afghanistan’s foreign exchange reserves in foreign banks since the Taliban took control.
On the other hand, the freezing of Afghanistan’s assets has increased poverty, hunger and unemployment in the country.
International aid agencies have repeatedly warned that a humanitarian catastrophe could occur if no action is taken to improve the current situation in Afghanistan.
