The head of the Taliban’s national security was killed in a traffic accident in Laghman

Local officials in Laghman province say Maulvi Ulfat Hashemi, the Taliban’s national security chief, and five others have been killed in a traffic accident in the province.

Salahuddin Zahid, spokesman for the governor of Laghman, said that the traffic accident took place last night in Mehtarlam city, the capital of the province.

According to him, as a result of this incident, 5 Taliban members and head of the group’s national security were killed.

However, no details have been released about the cause of the accident.
