Idris rejected the timing of his appointment as deputy minister of affairs

Following the announcement by the Ministry of Command and Prohibition of the Taliban that Idris Zaman, the Acting Foreign Minister of the former government had been appointed as Deputy Minister, Mr. Zaman denied the ministry’s announcement.
“The news of my appointment is baseless and fabricated and part of a campaign to discredit me on social media,” Idris Zaman, the Acting Foreign Minister of the former governmen, wrote on his Twitter page today (Thursday).
He expressed hope that the rejection of the appointment would put an end to speculation about him.
Yesterday, the Ministry of Promoting Virtue and Prohibiting Virtue of the Taliban wrote on its Twitter page that based on the decree of Sheikh Hebatullah, the leader of the Taliban, Idris Zaman, who was the political deputy of the Foreign Ministry of the previous government, Deputy Minister of Enjoining the Good and Forbidding the Evil in Women’s Affairs, designated.
The ministry has wished Idris Zaman success in his new position.
