The United Nations is working to raise more aid to Afghanistan in 2022

The United Nations has launched two plans to raise more aid in 2022 for Afghans living with hunger and poverty.
The two plans presented by the United Nations include a $ 5 billion international budget for 2022.
“Today, it and other non-governmental organizations are launching joint response projects aimed at providing vital assistance to millions of people in Afghanistan and supporting 5.7 million displaced Afghans in neighboring countries,” the organization said.
The people of Afghanistan are grappling with one of the fastest growing crises in the world, the United Nations has added.
According to the UN, half of the country’s population is starving and more than 9 million people have been displaced and also nearly 22 million people in Afghanistan are in need of food, medicine and raw materials.
