Pakistani media have reported that the national security adviser of this country is scheduled to visit Kabul.

Pakistan National Security Adviser Moayed Yusuf will reportedly arrive in Kabul on Tuesday to hold talks with Taliban officials, according to reports.

However, some Pakistani officials also confirmed the visit of the national security adviser to Afghanistan and said that the two-day visit will focus on bilateral issues and Pakistan’s efforts to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe in Afghanistan.

Pakistan’s national security adviser is scheduled to travel to Afghanistan as Prime Minister Imran Khan recently said he was sending manpower to Afghanistan, to which a Taliban spokesman thanked Pakistan in response and said Afghanistan had enough troops.
