UNAMA expressed concern over the detention of two women protesters by the Taliban in Kabul

The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) has expressed concern over the detention of two women protesters in Kabul by the Taliban and their disappearance.
UNAMA wrote on its Twitter page today that Tamna Zaryab Pariani and Parvaneh Ibrahimkhel, two female activists, were abducted from their homes by the Taliban on Wednesday night.
It has asked the Taliban to provide information on the whereabouts of the two women protesters.
Meanwhile, a video of Tamna Zaryab Pariani, one of the protesters on social media, being spread, in which she shouts that the Taliban have raided her house and are seeking her arrest.
But Taliban officials have denied the reports, saying the detention of women is a baseless charge.
