Power supply to Khost airport completed

The Ministry of Transport and Aviation announced the completion of the power supply to Khost Airport.
The ministry said in a statement that the work on electrifying the airfield, which began about 25 days ago, has been completed.
The ministry added that the inauguration ceremony was attended by Alhaj Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzadeh, Acting Minister of Transport and Aviation, Governor of Khost Province, Deputy Minister, heads and employees of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation.
It should be noted that the construction of this airport began in 1390 and the purpose of its construction is to facilitate the air transport sector and provide communication between the people of Khost and the capital and other provinces of Afghanistan.
