The Taliban freed a doctor from kidnappers in Kunduz
Bakhtar News Agency reported that Taliban security forces released a doctor in Kunduz province from kidnappers.
The media quoted Mohammad Naeem Mangal, director of the Kunduz Central Hospital, as saying that Dr. Houshang Rostaghi, who had been abducted about two months ago in Kunduz, had been rescued from kidnappers last night.
In recent months, however, several doctors in Kabul and the province have been abducted by kidnappers, and in some cases have even lost their lives.
