Taliban: We are reviving the Media Violation Commission

A Taliban spokesman said the Media Violation Commission would be revived to resolve any misunderstandings.
“We are trying to revive the Media Violation Commission to prevent misunderstandings and resolve any problems that may arise,” said Zabihullah Mujahid, the deputy minister of information and culture and a Taliban spokesman.
He also spoke about the media law in the country, saying that the previous media law is currently used in all provinces of the country, including the capital, and that all media outlets will be notified of any amendments.
The Media Violation Commission is being revived by the Taliban as several journalists have been detained and tortured by the Taliban since the group took control of Afghanistan.
