Hekmatyar called on the Mojahedin to unite

Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, the leader of Islamic Party of Afghanistan, has said that the survival of governments depends on popular support and that the Taliban should take this into account.

He added that the reason for the collapse of the previous government was the lack of popular support.

In an interview, he said that the Loya Jirga is a version of the 19th century and now its time has passed, emphasizing the continuation of the current government in Afghanistan and said that this government should continue under the name of the universal.
