Snow Storm in Kunar; 20 people fell under the snow

Local Taliban officials in Kunar reported a Snow Storm in Dangam district of the province.

According to the Bakhtar state news agency, the snowstorm took place today in Dangam district and 20 people were covered in snow.

However, local officials in the province said that the bodies of 15 people had been exhumed from the snow so far and that efforts were underway to evacuate the remaining people.

Meanwhile, a few days ago, a snowstorm in Badakhshan province killed several people.
