A person killed by Taliban in Kabul

Sources in Kabul claim that a civilian was killed by the Taliban in the province.

A civilian was killed by Taliban insurgents in the Khaja area of Mir Bacha Kot district in Kabul today, the sources said.

According to them, the person killed was a shopkeeper and had no personal enmity with anyone.

On the other hand, eyewitnesses say that this person was arrested by the Taliban and when he tried to escape, he was shot dead by the group’s forces.

However, following the killing of this person, the local people started protesting and took to the streets.

The protesters carried the body of the victim on the Parwan-Kabul public road and chanted “Death to the Taliban” by closing the road to traffic.

Taliban officials have not yet commented.
