Ayneh TV stopped working

The Afghanistan Journalists’ Center announced the closure of Ayneh Private TV.
According to the Afghanistan Journalists Center, this private television station has stopped operating in Afghanistan after 18 years due to economic problems.
Emphasizing that a large number of media outlets in Afghanistan have ceased to function since the Taliban took over, Afghanistan Journalists Center hopes that free media will gain a foothold by resolving financial problems and current constraints.
Ayneh TV was the first private media outlet to operate after the fall of the Taliban’s first term in Afghanistan, with the financial support of Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum, a former vice president and leader of the National Movement Party.
