More than 100 were arrested in Herat in connection with various crimes

Local Taliban officials in Herat say more than 100 people have been arrested in the past month in connection with various crimes in the province.

According to the Bakhtar state news agency, officials of the Herat police command say that 106 people have been arrested in the past month in connection with various crimes.

They say the detainees were found in possession of eight firearms, 20 stolen vehicles, 200 liters of alcohol, 15 stolen mobile phones and 5 kilograms of narcotics.
