Hundreds of Taliban fighters were sent to Bamyan

Taliban officials say hundreds of the group’s combat troops, equipped with light and heavy weapons, have been sent to Bamyan province.

A spokesman for the Taliban governor in Bamyan said that troops had been sent to the province to contain insecurity, adding that some groups were working with neighboring countries to create insecurity in the provinces, including Bamyan.

On the other hand, Ghulam Mohammad Bakhtiar, head of the 203rd Mansouri Taliban Brigade’s plan and operation, said that according to some reports, Resistance Front 2 was being formed in Bamyan.

He called on the people of Bamyan not to allow people to create insecurity in the province.

Meanwhile, some anti-Taliban groups, including the Resistance Front, are active in a number of Afghan provinces.

These groups have also carried out anti-Taliban operations in the provinces several times.
