The second train carrying Turkish humanitarian aid arrived in Herat

Turkey’s second train, carrying 920 tonnes of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, has arrived in Herat.

The second Turkish humanitarian aid train carrying 920 tons of cargo arrived in the province today from the port of Turgundi on the Turkmen border.

The donations were attended by Sinan Elhan, the Turkish Consul General in Herat, Turkish Red Crescent officials and local Taliban officials.

According to Turkish Red Crescent officials, the aid includes food, clothing, blankets, sanitary ware and disinfection.

It is worth mentioning that these donations were collected in coordination with the Unexpected Events Organization and with the support of 16 Turkish charities.
