Sources in Badakhshan report that three people were killed in a clash between Taliban militants in the province.

Sources say three people, including two students, were killed in a shootout of Taliban insurgents in the province.

The clash is said to have taken place between two local Taliban commanders in the Khawan district of Badakhshan.

Dadullah Khawani and Farid Ahmad Safaei are two young students who died as a result of a gunshot wound in the clashes.

It is said that the cause of the clash was the control of the district commissariat.

On the other hand, some sources in Takhar have said that three people were wounded in a clash between Taliban insurgents in the province.
