An explosion in Paktia left three dead

Local sources in Paktia reported an explosion in Dandaptan district of the province.

The blast took place yesterday inside a mosque in Dandaptan district of the province, according to Maulvi Keramat, security chief at the Taliban police headquarters in Paktia province.

He said three people had been killed and about 20 others injured in the blast.

The injured were taken to hospital, according to the security chief of the Taliban police headquarters in the province.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the blast.

Before this too, civilians were killed or wounded in explosions inside mosques in most provinces, with ISIS claiming responsibility for most of the blasts.
