Biden: Russia’s military strikes are against European security

The US president said that Russia’s military strikes are not only against Ukraine, but also against European security and world peace and stability.

US President Joe Biden made the remarks at a news conference with his Finnish counterpart at the White House.

“These attacks are not only against Ukraine, but also against European security and world peace and stability,” he said. “We all agree with Niniste on this.”

Stressing that Finland is an important ally of the United States, Biden said he would keep his promises to provide defense and humanitarian assistance to Ukraine.

It’s been a week since Russia’s military offensive against Ukraine began.
