A young man killed his mother in Logar

Security officials in Logar say a mother was killed by her son in the province.

Ahmadullah Anas, a spokesman for the Logar police command, said a young man had killed his mother in the Khorwar district of the province.

According to him, the incident took place on Friday in Panjapai village of Kharvar district of the province.

Mr. Anas described the motive for the murder as a verbal altercation, saying that the case first started with the bride clashing with the young man’s mother, and later the young man used his stick to kill his mother.

A spokesman for the Logar police chief added that the killer had been arrested by security forces in the province.
