Seven members of a family were injured in an explosion in Helmand

Local sources in Helmand say seven members of a family were injured when explosives left over from the war exploded.

Maulvi Mohammad Qasim Riyadh, the Taliban’s deputy director of information and culture for Helmand, said the incident took place yesterday as a result of an explosion of ammunition left over from the war in the Dasht area of ​​Marjah district.

According to him, as a result of this incident, 7 members of a family, including their father, mother and 5 children, were injured.

The deputy head of the Taliban’s information and culture department in Helmand added that the injured had been taken to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, two children were injured in an explosion of ammunition left yesterday in Maimana, the capital of Faryab province.
