Turkmenistan’s presidential election was held in a democratic manner

Turkmenistan’s presidential election was held yesterday (March 12, 2022) formal and genuine democratıcal.

Voters went to the polls to vote for one of the nine presidential candidates.

Voters went to the polls by 7pm, and used more than 97% of their ballots.

In all cities and villages, Turkmenistan’s presidential election was held with great enthusiasm.

The election was fully endorsed by international observers.

International observers from the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization of Turkish Governments and observers from other countries were present to monitor the elections.

The final results of the voting will be announced in the coming days.
