Explosion in Badakhshan; A female student was injured

News sources in Badakhshan report that a girl was injured in an explosion in the province.

Moazuddin Ahmadi, the Taliban’s director of information and culture for Badakhshan, said the blast occurred this morning at a checkpoint on the bridge at Faizabad University in the province as a result of a natural disaster.

He added that the incident took place as a result of a mine explosion left over from the clashes and that no one was injured in the incident.

But eyewitnesses said a female student was injured in the blast.
