Malaysia sends 1.6 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine to Afghanistan

The Malaysian Foreign Ministry has announced that 1.6 million doses of Covid-19 vaccine will be sent to Afghanistan to fight the disease.

Malaysia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Qamaruddin Jafar has said his country will send several consignments of Covid-19 vaccine to Afghanistan.

According to him, they are consulting with Afghan officials to send these shipments to Afghanistan.

Yesterday, the Malaysian Foreign Minister stressed the need to increase international humanitarian aid to Afghanistan and called on the international community to take action to prevent a crisis in Afghanistan.
