The Prime Ministers of India and Japan have stressed the need to create an inclusive political system that represents all the people of Afghanistan.
During a visit to India on Saturday (May 28th), Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida met with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi and stressed the need to create a comprehensive political system that represents all the people of Afghanistan.
During the meeting, the two sides expressed their close cooperation in achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan, emphasizing the importance of addressing the humanitarian crisis, promoting human rights and ensuring the establishment of an inclusive political system in Afghanistan that truly represents all parties.
India and Japan have also called for concerted action against all terrorist groups, including those sanctioned by the UN Security Council.
The two sides also discussed regional and international issues, including the Ukraine war and the North Korean missile test.
