Five aid workers were arrested by the Taliban in Ghor

Five aid workers in Ghor province have been detained by Taliban on the orders of the governor.

According to sources in the province, Ahmad Shah Dindust, the Taliban governor, has ordered the arrest of aid workers in Ghor.

Meanwhile, the governor of Ghor, while stopping the activities of aid organizations in the province, had previously said: Be aware of the movements of institutions, because the purpose of institutions is not to serve the people and all the figures they provide are false and the institutions are not present. Give precision to the private sector and are not currently allowed to operate.

At the same time, the head of information and culture of the province said: “Institutions have suspicious activities and we think that some of them are working to support the former government and distribute salaries to them.”
