Britain is providing more than $ 300 million in aid to Afghanistan

The British Foreign Office has announced that 286 million Pound (US $ 374 million) will help to the people of Afghanistan to provide food and emergency assistance.

According to the British Foreign Office, the new London aid will be distributed through UN partners and trusted NGOs in Afghanistan.

British Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace said she was coming together to support the Afghan people and help advance food, shelter and health equipment, adding that Afghan women and girls would be the focus of her country and that the Taliban should Interact constructively to protect their rights and immediately reverse their decision to stop educating girls.

He also said that his country, in addition to emergency humanitarian assistance, also supports basic services such as improving access to health care and helping farmers overcome the effects of drought.

The United Nations, meanwhile, estimates that some 10 million children across Afghanistan are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance to survive.
