The death toll from the blast at the Currency Exchange Market in Kabul has risen

Officials at Kabul Emergency Hospital say the death toll from an explosion at Kabul’s Currency Exchange Market has risen.
Officials at Kabul Emergency Hospital say one person was killed and 59 others were injured in an explosion at the Shahzadeh Palace, Kabul’s largest Currency Exchange Market.
The Taliban Interior Ministry said the incident was caused by a thief throwing a hand grenade into the Currency Exchange Market.
According to the ministry, the thief intended to steal money from money changers, and further investigations are underway.
