Iranian Embassy in Kabul: Videos of harassment of Afghans in Iran are planned

Following the release of videos of the persecution of Afghan refugees in Iran, the Iranian Embassy in Kabul says that the videos released on the persecution of Afghans in that country were planned and released to darken relations between the two countries.
The embassy said in a statement that the allegations of harassment of Afghan nationals in Iran were “targeted and planned” to undermine Iran’s deep-rooted relationship with the Afghan people.
The embassy added that sedition and conspiracy were ongoing in relations between the two countries, adding that those who had released the tapes were seeking to instill “Iranophobia” in Afghan society.
A statement from the Iranian embassy in Kabul also stressed that relations between the two countries are based on good neighborliness and mutual respect, adding that “putting such films together reveals a stream of targeted media that seeks to destroy relations between the two countries.”
It is worth mentioning that in the last few days, videos of the persecution of Afghans in Iran were published on social networks, which show the plight of Afghan refugees in Iran.
