The Red Cross Committee rebuilt eight schools in Baghlan

The Red Cross says it has rebuilt eight schools damaged in the fighting in Laghman province.

The committee wrote on its Facebook page yesterday that it had rebuilt eight schools in the center and two districts of Laghman province.

The Red Cross said the schools were located in Alingar, Alishang and Mehtarlam districts and had been severely damaged in recent fighting.

The committee added that with the reconstruction of these schools, nearly six thousand students can continue their education in them.

Meanwhile, public facilities have been damaged in recent wars in most of the country’s provinces.
