Taliban: US concern over human rights abuses in Afghanistan is unfounded

A Taliban spokesman said in response to a State Department report on human rights abuses by the former government and the Taliban in Afghanistan that US concerns were unfounded.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid tweeted that US concerns about human rights abuses in Afghanistan were unfounded, as all basic human rights had already been secured.
He added that the Taliban ensure that all basic human rights are guaranteed.
In a recent report by the US State Department, the United States has expressed concern about human rights abuses in Afghanistan by the Taliban.
